How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent plumbing provider. These are local businesses in our network. They are not Stormlength Plumbing workers. We do not have a crew.
When you send a request or call, it is passed along to a provider who serves your area. That provider speaks with you and gives the quote.
What Happens After You Reach Out
First, you describe the problem. Keep it short. Where is the leak? Is water still running? Can you smell sewage?
Next, a provider reviews it. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. Request a callback to check provider availability.
Then the provider asks a few questions. They may ask for photos. They explain the next step and give a price range.
While You Wait
Shut it off first. Turn off the main water valve for a leak. Stop using drains if sewage is backing up. Move things away from water. Take photos for your records.
What to Ask a Plumber
Use these questions. Write down the answers.
- Are you licensed and insured in my area?
- Will you give me a written quote before work starts?
- What could make the price change?
- How long do you expect the job to take?
- Is there a trip or service fee?
- Do you offer a warranty on the work?
- Can you help document the damage for my insurance?
Costs vary by job. A fair provider will explain the quote. If something is unclear, ask again.
You Are in Control
You can say no. You can ask another provider. You can compare quotes. Quote before work is the rule we ask providers to follow.
We only connect you. The choice, and the agreement, are between you and the provider.
